Melissa Borich
Founder of Melissa’s Healing Space, facilitator and creator of the Nurturing Women’s Retreat.
Yoga Therapist Melissa Borich began holding these retreats 12 years ago. Starting as day-long Being a Woman day retreats, they’ve since unfolded into weekend twice yearly Nurturing Women’s Retreats. Now, Melissa offers a week-long exploration of nurturing for women of all ages, at all stages.
The Nurturing Women’s retreat experience evolved out of Melissa’s personal journey from parenting, moving into perimenopause and menopause, and finding ways to navigate the different stages of womanhood with ease and grace – albeit challenging at times. Melissa found by modifying her daily practice of yoga and meditation and by bringing a more feminine approach to the teachings that she was able to alleviate and understand the changes that were taking place through all layers. From the physical, emotional, mental to the spiritual, many “aha” moments were discovered.
Melissa is passionate about sharing beneficial learnings and teachings that helped her with other women. She is motivated by equipping women with the tools and resources to navigate womanhood at every stage of the journey.
Melissa has been teaching for over 20 years, is a Yoga Therapist, a Senior Yoga teacher, a Meditation teacher trainer and mentor and an accredited Relax and Renew Restorative Yoga teacher.
